The protection and security of personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we strictly adhere to the legal requirements of the European Data Protection Regulation (DS-GVO), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other legal provisions. We take all technical and organisational measures – in accordance with the current state of the art – for the secure processing of personal data.

Purpose of data processing:

In this paragraph we inform you about which data is collected and for what purpose.

1. automated data processing/ data transmission

When you visit our website, data is processed automatically for technical reasons, but this data does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the person concerned – your person. This data is stored in log files on the server and processed purely for anonymous statistical purposes. Among other things, this data contains information on the time of access, the browser used, the referer URL (previously visited website) and other purely technical information on your hardware, the operating system used and browser information. This data is not passed on to third parties.

IP address anonymisation (PRIVACY FIRST)

The protection of your privacy is of great concern to us. Therefore, we use the IP address masking module on our web server in accordance with the recommendation of the Arbeitskreis Vorratsdatenspeicherung (AK Vorrat) – http://www.wirspeichernnicht.de. This means that any conclusions about the requesting client PC or the requesting person or company – even when using a static IP address – are not possible.

2. collection of personal data

Personal data and information are processed exclusively for the fulfilment of order-related processes and for the handling of contractually required processes.

Personal data is only processed in the course of enquiries or contractual transactions that the data subject himself or a third party commissioned by the data subject has sent to us, e.g. for the preparation of an offer.

Should you transmit or have transmitted your personal data to us, we assure you that it will not be passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the fulfilment of the order or a legal basis prescribes the passing on.

Security advice for data transmission on the Internet

Despite all technical and organisational measures, we cannot guarantee 100% security when processing your personal data via our website. We therefore advise you to pass on particularly sensitive personal data to us by post or in the course of a telephone call, insofar as this is required for the fulfilment of our order.

Legal basis of the processing of personal data

The processing of personal data is primarily based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – for the performance of a contract or the performance of pre-contractual measures. Alternatively, in the case of a non-contractual constellation, in the case of the explicit consent of the data subject pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.

Duration of data storage

Personal data is stored by us in connection with contractual processing in accordance with the legal requirements regarding retention periods. In the case of exclusively pre-contractual processing, the personal data will be deleted within a period of 4 weeks – after the last transaction-related correspondence. An exception to this is a request for deletion by the person concerned, which is complied with immediately, insofar as no statutory regulation precludes this or a government agency has made a request for information.

Disclosure of personal data – categories of recipients

Personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is absolutely necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual tasks vis-à-vis the data subject. For example, it may be necessary to use one or more subcontractors, such as transport companies, in order to fulfil contractual components – such as the delivery of goods to the data subject – which makes it necessary to pass on the name and address.
